what happens in vegas story

Recently, the TACT Las Vegas team was called to handle another hoarding cleanup in the valley. This project was especially meaningful, as it was the first time our newest team members, A. Wesley and G. Torrez, experienced the realities of working inside a hoarded home.
The job involved a small efficiency apartment with a level 3 hoard. Prior to starting, the homeowner assured our team that their cats would be removed from the property. However, upon arrival, it became clear that the cats were still inside. Out of concern for both the animals’ well-being and the safety of our crew, we immediately contacted Las Vegas City Animal Control.
Within minutes, Animal Control arrived on scene. What began as a call regarding a handful of cats turned into a remarkable rescue: not only were the seven cats safely removed, but officers discovered 14 more cats, including four tiny kittens hidden throughout the hoard.
By the end of the day, TACT Las Vegas was proud to know that our work did more than clean an apartment—it saved lives and provided much-needed help to a member of our community.
At TACT, every job tells a story. This one reminded us that compassion, quick action, and teamwork can make a real difference in the lives of both people and animals.
